Patna College of Polytechnic is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and healthy learning environment for all students. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the campus, hostels, classrooms, laboratories, playgrounds, and any area associated with the institution.

What is Ragging?

  • Any act that causes physical or mental harassment
  • Teasing, abusing, or humiliating a student
  • Forcing a student to perform acts against their will
  • Creating fear, stress, or discomfort among junior students

Zero Tolerance Policy

Patna College of Polytechnic follows a Zero Tolerance Policy towards Ragging. Any student found guilty of ragging will face strict disciplinary action, which may include:

  • Suspension or expulsion from the institution
  • Cancellation of admission
  • Withholding of results or certificates
  • Legal action as per law

Anti-Ragging Measures

To prevent ragging, the college has implemented the following measures:

  • Formation of an Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad
  • Regular awareness programs and orientations for students
  • Continuous monitoring of campus and hostels
  • Confidential handling of complaints

Reporting Ragging

Students are encouraged to report any incident of ragging without fear. Complaints will be treated with strict confidentiality.

Students can report ragging through:

  • College Anti-Ragging Committee
  • Support a ragging-free campus
  • Report any form of ragging immediately
